Michael L. Paul, 72, of Jamestown, went to be with the lord on Sunday (July 23, 20170) while receiving medical treatment at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. He was born in Jamestown on December 17, 1944 the son of the late Murray L. and Marian G. Jacobson Paul. His working career included long term employment with the US Postal Service in earlier years and long term employment with Fairbanks Farm as the meat inspector technician. Mike loved his family dearly and also loved playing pool. He also maintained horses and a small farm-like homestead for years. He is survived by his brothers, Thomas (Suzanne) Paul, Cornelius, NC., James Paul, Richard (Diana) Paul and Carl (Paula) Slagle, Jamestown. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his sole sister, Karen Redmond, as well as both paternal and maternal grandparents. There will be no funeral service or visitation. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Pallative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
