Scott E. Peters, (Scottie Dawg) age 47, of Cuba, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Olean General Hospital. Scott was born September 29, 1969 in Jamestown, NY to Edward and Jill (Swan) Peters. He was employed by Joyful Rescues in Cuba, NY as an animal care giver. Scott enjoyed four wheeling, camping and enjoyed being outdoors. Scott is survived by one daughter: Crystal (Stephen Hinkley) Rosier; and a granddaughter, Evelynn Hinkley; fiancé of 16 years, Carla Johnson; step daughter, Brandie Green; step son, Jason Green; and grandchildren: Jason, Justin, and Joshua Green; sisters: Paula Peters (Ken Raynor) and Tracey Rumsey (Marshall Glidewell). A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13 at Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 111 South Main St., Jamestown, NY. The Rev. Carol Anderson and Rev. Al Conklin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Joyful Rescues, 1319 Turock Drive, Cuba, NY 14727.
