Mary L. Ryan (Pokie), age 56, of Jamestown went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA. Mary was born on November 26, 1960 in Jamestown, NY to Bradley G. and Margaret L. (Harmon) Ryan. She was a waitress at several Jamestown restaurants and most recently The Eatery. Mary loved animals, going for walks and spending time with her family. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang alto in the DayStar Quartette in her younger days and sang often with her family and friends. Mary is survived by two sons: Arron (Stephanie Parker) Taylor and Brandon (Michelle Buccola) Taylor; grandchildren: Kael, Arianna, and Brody Taylor; her sisters: Suzette (Frank) Benedetto and Eileen (Dan) Frost, and brothers: Dan (Kim) Ryan and David (Janet) Ryan. Besides her parents Mary was predeceased by her brother, Jackie L. Ryan. A private family burial will be held at the Gerry Cemetery. A memorial service/reception will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 20 N. Phetteplace St. Falconer, N.Y. on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 3:00 -6:00p. Memorial donations may be made to: The Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd., Jamestown, NY 14701. The Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
