Obituary of Jeffrey S. Hill

Jeffrey S. Hill, 51, of Jamestown, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in WCA Hospital of cardiac arrest. He was born in Gowanda, N.Y. on November 28, 1964 the son of Darryl and Eleanor Talbot Hill. Though he was blind, he overcame many challenges. He attended Batavia School for the Blind and graduated from Cattaraugus Central school. He also earned an associate Degree from JCC> Jeff was a very talented musician and vocalist. Over the years he performed with many local bands. He also loved the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, Brain (Kimberly) Hill of N.C. and Jamestown; a sister in law, NaDean Hill of Cherry Creek; a niece, Amber(Beau) Wulf; a nephew, Kevin Hill; a great niece, Alexis Wulf; a great nephew, Trenton Wulf. He is also survived by the love of his life, Lynette Stevens, with whom he made his home. Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hill, his grandmother, Mary Gould and his grandfather, Lester Hill. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. William Blair, pastor of New Creation Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Jolls Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chautauqua Blind association, 510 West Fifth St., Jamestown, N.Y, 14701.
