Terrie L. Abbott, 59, of 20 Brown Ave., Jamestown, died at 4:20 p.m. Monday (October 3, 2016) at her residence. She was born in Cumberland County, Pa. on October 12, 1956 the daughter of Peggy Colley Dixon, Jamestown and John Cunningham. She was employed with direct care at the Resource Center for fourteen years and attended events involving patients going through dialysis. There was no question about Terri being the rock for her four siblings. She was a natural protector of her brothers and shared a deep bond with her sisters. No matter what life threw at her, she never let anything defeat her. Even when the close call came , she fought beyond belief, determined to keep her new role as a grandmother. And before the end, she blessed us with another fifteen years and gained six more grand babies whom became her entire world. She carried with her an everlasting friendship with Jim who never gave up on her. She spent her time with her beloved cats, Adam and Honey. She loved her cats. She developed a special relationship with her aid, Lisa and all her dialysis nurses and staff. She was an avid gamer and final fantasy never got old! She’ll forever be admired for her strength, love and compassion and the most loving mother ever. Besides her mother, she is survived by four daughters, Jessica Abbott, Jamie (Vincent) Parasaliti, with whom she made her home, Melissa Robbins, Jamestown and Heather Subia, Texas, seven grandchildren, Jacob Abbott, Joslyn and Jonathan Rogers, Andrew Rahr, Vincent, Giovanni and Domenicio Parasiliti all of Jamestown, two brothers, John (Nancy) Cunningham, Jamestown and Kevin (Monique) Cunningham, West Virginia, two sisters, Tracey (Bill) Napier and Elizabeth Kemery, Jamestown, her former husband, James Abbott, Falconer. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Timothy Brunecz who died in 1999, her grandmother, Elizabeth Colley and her step father, Howard Dixon. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hubert Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev.
