Johnathan L “Papa” Hallett, 66, of Jamestown, died Thursday (September 22, 2016 ) in WCA Hospital. He was born in Jamestown on April 3, 1950 the son of Fred and Marjorie Grover Hallett. Jonathan was employed at Lake Shore Paving for many years and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels He is survived by a son, Dennis (Jodee) Hallett and a daughter, Kelly (Pete) Milliman, grandchildren, Jesse and James Trotter, Kortny, Conner and Payton Hallett, several step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, Madison Trotter, Frewsburg and Harmony Trotter, Jamestown, thirteen brothers and sisters also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan A. Hallett, who died on June 13, 2005 and by a brother, William VanGuilder. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Hillcrest Baptist Church with a reception to follow. The Rev Mark Hinman, pastor, will officiate.
